Laminate - clear or matte?

We do not make stickers on “bare” vinyl, but finish all stickers with a laminate . This provides both durability and a better feel in the hand.

Why is laminate important?

Laminate:

  • protects the print from scratches and dirt
  • significantly extends the service life of labels
  • protects colors from the sun's UV radiation (colors do not fade as quickly)
  • makes cleaning easier – the surface can be wiped with a damp cloth

Matte laminate

Matte is great when you want to:

  • a subdued, elegant and “premium” feel
  • that the surface is not too reflective (e.g. in photographs or indoor lighting)
  • a sticker that feels a bit velvety in the hand and fingerprints don't show up as easily

Gloss laminate

Clear laminate is a good choice when you want:

maximum colors – bright, deep and “popping” colors

a slight sheen that makes the sticker look like a “finished product”

extra boost for graphic logos and colorful illustrations

How to order die-cut labels

  • 1. Select size and quantity

    Choose the appropriate size and quantity from the product configurator.

  • 2. Choose laminate

    Decide whether you want a clear or matte laminate - both are durable and UV-protected, it's more about style.

  • 3. Download the design

    Upload your logo or other image to the configurator (e.g. .PDF, .AI, .SVG or good quality .PNG)

  • 4. Check the draft

    The configurator shows a preview immediately. You can adjust if necessary before adding the products to the shopping cart.

  • 5. Subscribe & wait for the mail

    Once your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation and we will print, cut, and ship your order to you.

Material instructions

How do you get the best possible result?

  • Resolution: at least 300 dpi in the size in which the label will be produced
  • File formats:
    the best are vector formats: .AI, .EPS, .PDF, .SVG
    also high-resolution .PNG with a transparent background works great
  • Colors: CMYK color mode recommended for printing
  • Bleed/safety margin: leave at least 2–3 mm of background around important content
  • Texts: convert fonts to paths/vectors if you use special fonts

Frequently asked questions

What does a die-cut sticker mean?

A die-cut sticker means that the sticker is cut exactly to the shape of your design – not just a square or rectangle. For example, the outline of a logo, character or text can be followed exactly, making the sticker look much more interesting and “finished product”.

Which laminate should you choose, glossy or matte?

Both are high quality and protect the sticker, the difference is mainly in the feel:

  • Clear/glossy laminate
    – the colors look super bright and “pop”
    – suitable for graphic logos and colorful images
  • Matte laminate
    – understated, stylish and a bit of a “premium” feel
    – not as reflective, fingerprints don't show up as easily

If you're not sure, glossy is a good basic choice – matte is for when you want a more calm, designer look.

Why are stickers laminated, isn't just vinyl enough?

The laminate is what makes the sticker truly durable:

  • protects the print from scratches, dirt and wear
  • significantly extends the service life
  • protects colors from fading (UV protection)
  • makes the surface easier to clean

We laminate the labels with clear or matte laminate so that you get a real “product label” and not just a printed label.

Are the stickers durable for outdoor use?

Yes, the stickers are made to last: high-quality vinyl + laminate = long-lasting outdoors. They are suitable for cars, bikes, machinery, front doors and other smooth surfaces.

However, please note that the surface must be clean and dry when applying the sticker.

Can the labels be used on drinking bottles and thermoses?

Yes. The labels are very durable against everyday use, abrasion and moisture. Hand washing is always the gentlest option – the durability in the dishwasher depends a lot on the heat and detergent, so we can't guarantee it.

Can I get a proof before ordering?

Yes! We automatically provide a draft in the configurator :

  • you can see the size, shape and layout of the sticker right on the screen
  • you can test different sizes and quantities
  • When you are satisfied with the print, you add the product to your shopping cart and place an order.

What kind of file do I need for an order?

You will get the best results with these specs:

  • File format: preferably vector (.AI, .EPS, .PDF, .SVG), good quality .PNG is also acceptable
  • Resolution: at least 300 dpi in the size the label will be printed on
  • Colors: CMYK color mode recommended
  • Background: a transparent background is a plus if the sticker is not rectangular

If you're not sure about the file, upload it anyway - we'll look through it and get in touch if anything needs to be fixed.

What is the minimum order quantity?

The minimum order is 25 pieces per design. You can see the options directly in the configurator on the product page.

Can I order several different designs in the same order?

Yes, you can order multiple designs at the same time – each design is added to your cart as a separate item. Choose the size and quantity, upload the design and repeat for the next version.

When will I receive my sticker?

Production time + delivery time depends on the size of the order and traffic. Usually the labels are made quite quickly and we can send them to you within 2-4 business days.

Is delivery free?

Shipping is free for orders over €300.

For orders under €300, shipping costs are calculated according to the delivery method selected at checkout.
